There are places I visit to walk and collect clay. The clay will make a main body or a slip for the outside of a piece. The wild clay is high in iron oxide and rich in minerals.

Prehistoric people lived on the Long Mynd and Stipperstones, the area is steeped in Celtic mythology, stories and tales.
